In the coastal part of the Cilento National Park lies Acciaroli,
a hamlet of Pollica, that has been awarded the Blue Flag for its
clean and crystalline water.
Acciaroli is in the heart of the Cilento's coast. The hamlet, with its
three Saracen towers and the little church of Our Lady of the Annunciation,
faces the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Acciaroli is a meeting place for many tourists, and is one of the
least-touched villages by modern development. It has kept its historic coastal village characteristic with an economy based prevalently on fishing.

The descriptions of Acciaroli could easily be of a Greek or other Mediterranean
area. The tasty cuisine and the "pizza" is outstanding.
Acciaroli’s elegant Port is one of the few Cilento's ports which is able to offer the guests every required service (water, electricity, etc...) directly on the wharfs. There is also a small dockyard that assures assistance for boats.
Another characteristic is the Mild Climate all year long that allows sunbathing from April to October.
The rare water-lily (now a protected species) still opens on the golden beach and it impregnates the air with its very intense scent.
